Distance contract

In this online store, the seller of the goods offered is Rezen Gold SIA,  No. 42403033223, Kr Valdemāra 7a, Rēzekne, LV4601, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer’s order.

The Buyer places an order for goods via the website www.useful.lv, indicating the type and quantity of the goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the option to pay for the goods using the payment tools integrated in the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail corresponding to the order. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature. The value of the goods on the invoice is indicated in euros.

The Seller ensures delivery of the goods within 14 days from receipt of payment for the goods, coordinating the delivery time with the Buyer.

The Seller sends the Buyer a confirmation of acceptance of the order by e-mail.

If the goods do not meet the Customer’s wishes, the Customer has the right to return them within 14 days. To return the purchased goods, the Customer must inform the Seller in writing at the e-mail address [email protected], indicating the order number.

The goods can be returned only if the goods are not damaged and have not been used. All costs related to returning or exchanging the goods are covered by the customer. The Seller has the right to unilaterally withhold these costs from the Customer’s payment for the goods.

In accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 207 of the Republic of Latvia, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchased goods and return them within 14 calendar days from the moment of purchase. If you wish to return purchased goods, after contacting us by e-mail: [email protected], you will be sent a withdrawal application form. The Buyer’s obligation is to return the goods to the Seller within seven days after submitting or sending the written withdrawal.

To avoid misunderstandings, before placing an order please make sure that the goods match your intentions, are of the desired color, shape, size and material. In case of uncertainty, please ask us questions by sending them to the e-mail: [email protected]

The Seller reserves the right to refuse the buyer the possibility to exercise the right of withdrawal or to withhold a compensation fee in the following cases:

If the goods have been used and/or damaged, if they are not in the original packaging or if the packaging is significantly damaged.

If goods with a defect have been purchased, the buyer must immediately notify the Seller by e-mail: [email protected] , otherwise it will not be possible to return the goods back. By starting to use the purchased goods, the buyer confirms that they correspond to what is desired, and the goods will no longer be accepted for return.

A defect is NOT considered to be the outer packaging (cardboard box) that has been deformed during transportation, unless the final product itself is damaged.

The money paid for the goods will be refunded by transfer within 7 days after receipt of the consumer’s written withdrawal.

Part six of Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia provides that “the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period for exercising the right of withdrawal”. The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer the exercise of the right of withdrawal or to withhold a compensation fee if the goods are damaged, if the goods are handled carelessly during use or if the instructions are not followed, if the original packaging of the goods has been lost or if the packaging is significantly damaged.

In accordance with Omniva SIA “STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARCEL SERVICE” edition of 2022.11.01, section 10.1, shipments in parcel lockers are stored for 7 calendar days.

In accordance with DPD Latvia SIA “terms of service use” 3rd edition dated 2023.01.31, section 12.4, shipments in parcel lockers are stored for 5 days.

Within the time intervals mentioned above, the buyer must collect the shipment. If the shipment is not collected or is cancelled by the Buyer, the delivery fee is not refunded.

If the order included free delivery, the standard delivery price according to the price list will be deducted from the refundable amount.

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree that the data provided by them is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer’s order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer’s order will be sent to the указанo e-mail address.

The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of an online store must set out the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a clause is called a distance contract (Cabinet Regulations).
